1- The acting in this slow, pointless film was very good, but I feel like I wasted 72 minutes I’ll never get back. The film was disjointed. I expected things to pull together in the end like Pulp Fiction, but I was left wondering, “What the heck?” Why the dinner with her mother? Why the scene with the grandfather? Why the scene with his friend? Why did anyone write this movie? Why did I think this was going to hold my interest? Bypass this film and read a good book.
2- So I too was tricked into thinking this would be good based on Alec Baldwin, the way the synopsis was written and Netflix advertising (#blah blah blah of Netflix today). And just like other people on here – about 20 minutes in I came to IMDB to see what have I gotten myself into and there it was – a score of 3. An accurate score of 3 and I don’t even remembered how it ended.
