1- No pun intended – but if you choose a title like that you should really be vary of what it means and if it really is fitting. I may be nitpicking here, but our main character has some issues and she has to go through stuff – but they are not close to an Odyssey and they are often problems of her own making.

2- That said, there are things touched upon that are more than noteworthy … sexism is one of the biggest issues we see here. Her being unable to get to do things because of her gender. On the other hand, while you see inefficient people (bank meeting to name one example), she always adds fuel to the fire. Also the way we are introduced to her … by not paying her (horrendous) medical bill … now again, there is the other side of it: healthcare system in the UK does not seem that much better than the one they have in the US.
